Taxis from Lohaghat to Karnakarayat typically cost ₹200-₹300. There are no parking facilities at the base of the trek, so it's best to hire a taxi.
Trekking
The final approach to Banasur Fort involves a 1-kilometer trek from Karnakarayat village. The trek is moderately challenging, with rocky paths and steep inclines. Ensure you wear comfortable trekking shoes and carry water. The trek offers beautiful views of the valleys and peaks. There are no entry fees for the fort, but a nominal fee might be collected at the base of the trek.
