    From Juphal, begin trekking towards Suligad, the park entrance. The trek to Phoksundo Lake typically takes several days, passing through villages like Dunai and Chhepka. Trekking lodges are available in Dunai, Chhepka, and Ringmo, providing food and limited supplies. Porters and guides can be hired in Juphal to assist with the trek. Be prepared for a challenging but rewarding journey through remote Himalayan landscapes. The cost for a guide and porter can vary, so negotiate prices beforehand. Shey Phoksundo National Park, established in 1984, is Nepal's largest national park, spanning 3,555 square kilometers in the country's northwest.
