Public Gardens, or Bagh-e-Aam (meaning 'garden of the public' in Urdu), is a historic park in the heart of Hyderabad, India. Established in 1846 during the reign of the Nizams, it is the oldest park in the city. The 7th Nizam of Hyderabad, Osman Ali Khan, created it.Over time, the park's area has decreased as land was used for constructing buildings like the State Legislative Assembly, State Museum, Jubilee Hall, and others. Today, Public Gardens remains a significant landmark, offering a blend of history, culture, and recreation.Visitors can explore various attractions within the gardens, including the Andhra Pradesh State Archaeology Museum, which features a diverse collection of artifacts.
