Getting there

Walking

From the Khwairamband Bazar (the main market area in Imphal), head east towards the Eastern Bypass Road. Walk along the road for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection with the Tarung Road. Turn right onto Tarung Road and continue walking straight for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs directing you towards Cheirao Ching Trail. After about 1 kilometer, you will arrive at Cheirao Ching Garden, which is located along the Cheirao Ching Trail.

Rickshaw

From your location in Imphal, hail a rickshaw and tell the driver you want to go to Cheirao Ching Garden. Most drivers will be familiar with the area. The ride will take around 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The driver will take you along the Eastern Bypass Road, then turn onto Tarung Road. Ask the driver to drop you off near the entrance to Cheirao Ching Trail, and from there, it will be a short walk to the garden.

Bicycle

If you're renting a bicycle, start from the Imphal city center and cycle towards the Eastern Bypass Road. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, turn right onto Tarung Road. Continue cycling along this road for about 2 kilometers. Look for signs towards Cheirao Ching Trail. After another kilometer, you will reach Cheirao Ching Garden. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules.
