Walking from Imphal City Center
Start at the City Center of Imphal, near the Ima Keithel (Mother's Market). Head west on MG Avenue towards the Khoyathong area. After approximately 1.5 kilometers, take a left onto Lamphelpat Road. Continue walking straight for another 2 kilometers until you reach the Lamphelpat area. The wetland is located on your right side. Look for the signage indicating Lamphelpat Wetland, and you will find the entrance.

From the main bus station in Imphal, board a bus heading towards Lamphelpat. Make sure to check the bus routes or ask the conductor to confirm that the bus stops at Lamphelpat. The journey may take around 30-40 minutes. Get off at the Lamphelpat stop, and you will find the wetland a short walk away. Follow the path leading towards the water body, which should be clearly visible.

Hire a cycle rickshaw from your location in Imphal. Inform the rickshaw puller to take you to Lamphelpat Wetland. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, and the ride will take approximately 20-30 minutes, depending on traffic. The rickshaw will drop you off near the entrance of the wetland area.
