Walking
Start from the Imphal city center, specifically from the Gandhi Memorial Hall. Head southeast on MG Avenue towards the Khoyathong Road. After approximately 1 km, take a right onto the Tarung Road. Continue on Tarung Road for about 2 km until you reach the junction with the Cheirao Ching Trail. Turn left onto Cheirao Ching Trail and walk for about 1.5 km. You will see signage directing you to Martyrs' Imphal City View Point. The hike up from this point is steep but offers beautiful views. The total walking distance is approximately 5 km and will take around 1.5 to 2 hours.
Public Transport
From the Imphal city center (near Gandhi Memorial Hall), take a local bus or auto-rickshaw heading towards Tarung. Inform the driver to drop you off at the Tarung Junction. Once there, follow the Cheirao Ching Trail on foot for approximately 1.5 km. Look for signs directing you to Martyrs' Imphal City View Point. The bus ride will take around 20-30 minutes, and the walk from the junction will take about 30 minutes.
