Start from the Imphal Municipal Council office located at MG Avenue, Imphal. Head east on MG Avenue towards the intersection with Tiddim Road. Once you reach the intersection, turn left onto Tiddim Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction leading to Luwangsangbam. At this junction, take a right turn onto a smaller road that leads to Matai Mamang Leikai. After approximately 800 meters, you will see the entrance to Matai Garden on your left.

Auto-rickshaw
From any central point in Imphal, like the Ima Keithel (Women’s Market), find an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver you want to go to Matai Garden in Luwangsangbam. The driver will take you along the main roads towards Tiddim Road. After about 20-25 minutes of travel, you will reach the vicinity of Matai Mamang Leikai. Request the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to Matai Garden. The garden entrance will be a short walk from where you are dropped off.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from any shop in Imphal. Start from the Kangla Fort area, cycling towards MG Avenue. Continue on MG Avenue until you reach the intersection with Tiddim Road. Turn left onto Tiddim Road and cycle straight for about 1.5 kilometers. When you reach the junction for Luwangsangbam, take a right turn. Follow this road for another 800 meters, and Matai Garden will be on your left.
