If you are starting from Itanagar's main market area (Nahar Lagun), walk towards the main road and head east on the NH13. Continue walking straight for about 1 km until you reach the junction with the Itanagar Police Station on your right. Take a left turn at this junction onto a smaller road. Continue straight for another 500 meters, and you will see Gandhi Udyan Park on your left. The park entrance is marked and easily visible.

From any point in Itanagar, you can take an auto rickshaw to Gandhi Udyan Park. Simply inform the driver that you want to go to 'Gandhi Udyan' or the nearby landmark, Itanagar Police Station. The fare should range between 30 to 50 INR depending on your starting point. The driver will take you on the main road (NH13) and drop you off directly at the entrance of the park.
