From Jaisalmer's main market (Sadar Bazar), you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Tell the driver you want to go to Desert National Park, specifically to Sudasari, Sam. The drive will take approximately 45 minutes to an hour depending on traffic. The driver should take the Jaisalmer-Sam road (NH 11) and follow the signs toward Sam Sand Dunes. Once you reach Sudasari, ask the driver to drop you off at RG99+Q7P, which is the park entrance.

If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle from a rental shop in Jaisalmer. Start your ride from the main market area and head towards the Jaisalmer-Sam road (NH 11). Follow the road for about 40 km towards Sam. The journey will take around 2 to 3 hours depending on your pace. Make sure to carry water and sun protection as it can get quite hot. Look for signs directing you to Desert National Park as you get closer.
