If you are traveling by car, start from Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand. Take NH 43 towards Lohardaga. Continue on NH 43 for approximately 70 km. Once you reach Lohardaga, follow the signs to Netarhat. The road will lead you through scenic landscapes, and it will take around 30 km to reach Netarhat. Upon reaching Netarhat, head towards the coordinates F7X7+442. The last stretch will involve driving on a narrower road leading to the Upper Ghaghri Waterfalls, which is approximately 4 km from the main road. Make sure to keep an eye out for local signposts directing you to the waterfalls.

Public Transportation (Bus)
For those using public transportation, board a bus from Ranchi to Lohardaga. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, and the fare is around INR 100-150. Once you arrive in Lohardaga, you can hire a local taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Netarhat. The taxi ride will cost around INR 500-700 for the 30 km distance. After reaching Netarhat, you can either ask the driver to take you close to the waterfalls or hire a local guide who can help you navigate the last 4 km to Upper Ghaghri Waterfalls.
