If you are in the Kanyakumari town center, head towards the coast. From the Kanyakumari Beach, walk northeast along the shore for about 10 minutes. You will pass by the Kanyakumari Temple on your left. Continue walking along the beach until you reach the main road (NH 44). Cross the road carefully, and you will see the Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam directly ahead, just a short walk up the slight incline.

From any location in Kanyakumari, hail an auto rickshaw and inform the driver you want to go to Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam. The driver will take you directly to the memorial. It is a well-known destination, so they will be familiar with the route. The ride will take approximately 5-10 minutes depending on your starting point.

If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Kanyakumari. Start by heading towards the main road (NH 44) from the town center. Once you reach NH 44, cycle towards the northeast for about 1.5 kilometers. Follow the signs for Mahatma Gandhi Mandapam, which will be on your left side. The route is relatively flat and should take around 10-15 minutes.
