Walking
If you are in Kanyakumari town, start at the Kanyakumari Bus Station, which is centrally located. Exit the bus station and head south on the Main Road (Kanyakumari - Thiruvananthapuram Road). Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the Kanyakumari Beach. From the beach, follow the shoreline to your left (east) for about 500 meters until you see the iconic Vivekananda Rock Memorial and the Thiruvalluvar Statue. Continue walking along the coastal path, and you will see signs directing you to Cape Comorin (Kumari Munai). The walk will take approximately 30 minutes. As you approach, you will find the viewpoint at Cape Comorin, which is marked by a small monument. Enjoy the breathtaking views of the confluence of the Arabian Sea, the Indian Ocean, and the Bay of Bengal.
Local Transport (Auto Rickshaw)
From any location in Kanyakumari, you can easily hire an auto rickshaw. Simply ask the driver to take you to Cape Comorin (Kumari Munai). Most drivers will be familiar with the location. The ride will take around 10-15 minutes, depending on traffic. Make sure to establish the fare before starting your journey to avoid any confusion. You can also use a ride-sharing app if available in the area.
Bicycle Rental
If you prefer a more adventurous option, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local shops in Kanyakumari. Start from the main beach area and follow the same route as described for walking.
