Getting There

Car
Start your journey from the nearest major town, such as Srinagar. Take the NH44 highway towards Jammu. After approximately 150 kilometers, you will reach Batote. Look for signs indicating Baglihar Dam as you approach Batote. Upon entering Batote, turn onto the Baglihar Hydel Power Project Road. Continue for about 5 kilometers until you arrive at the CRPF post, H-001, where the Baglihar Dam View Point is located. Parking is generally available near the viewpoint.

From Srinagar, board a bus heading towards Jammu. Make sure to inform the driver to drop you off at Batote. The journey will take approximately 4-5 hours.
