If you are traveling by car from Srinagar, take NH44 towards Anantnag and then follow the signs to Pahalgam. The journey takes approximately 2 to 3 hours depending on traffic. Once in Pahalgam, head towards Aru, which is about 12 kilometers from Pahalgam. You can park at Aru and then follow the trail leading to Lidder River Valley, a 30-minute walk from the village. Make sure to carry water and snacks for the trek.
