If you're traveling by car, start from Srinagar, which is approximately 50 kilometers away from Haramukh. Take the NH 1D road heading towards Gulmarg. After about 15 kilometers, you will reach the town of Tangmarg. From Tangmarg, continue on the same road and follow the signboards towards Gulmarg. After around 10 kilometers, you will reach the Gulmarg area. Here, you can park your vehicle. Please note that you may need to pay a parking fee, approximately ₹50-₹100. From Gulmarg, you will need to hire a local jeep or a pony to reach the base of Haramukh. The jeep ride will cost around ₹1500-₹2000 one way. The journey from Gulmarg to the base of Haramukh is about 12 kilometers and may take 1-2 hours, depending on the road conditions.
