After around 10 kilometers, you will reach the Gulmarg area. Here, you can park your vehicle. Please note that you may need to pay a parking fee, approximately ₹50-₹100. From Gulmarg, you will need to hire a local jeep or a pony to reach the base of Haramukh. The jeep ride will cost around ₹1500-₹2000 one way. The journey from Gulmarg to the base of Haramukh is about 12 kilometers and may take 1-2 hours, depending on the road conditions.
