Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, drive towards Sonamarg, which is approximately 80 km from Srinagar. You can take the NH44 highway, which will take you through stunning views of the valley. Once you reach Sonamarg, you will find parking facilities available near the base of the trek.

• Public Transport (Bus)

  To reach Sonamarg via public transport, take a bus from Srinagar's bus terminal (located at Batmaloo). There are several daily buses that operate to Sonamarg, which takes about 2-3 hours. Ensure to check the bus schedule in advance, as it may vary. Once you arrive in Sonamarg, you can either walk to the trek starting point or hire a local taxi.

• Taxi

  If you prefer a more comfortable and direct option, you can hire a taxi from Srinagar to Sonamarg. Taxi services are available throughout Srinagar, and the journey will take around 2-3 hours.
