Car
If you are driving from Srinagar, take the Boulevard Road towards the Dal Lake. Continue until you reach the intersection at Nishat. Take a left turn onto the National Highway 44 (NH44) heading towards Awantipora. After approximately 30 km, you will encounter a sign directing you towards Yousmarg. Turn right onto the Yousmarg Road (also known as the Charar-i-Sharif Road) and drive for about 15 km. Follow the signs as you pass through the scenic landscape, and you will arrive at Yousmarg. Make sure to have cash for any tolls or parking fees along the route.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Srinagar, head to the Bus Stand near Lal Chowk. Look for buses heading to Yousmarg or Charar-i-Sharif. The fare is typically around INR 100-150 per person. The journey takes about 2-3 hours, depending on traffic. Once you reach the Charar-i-Sharif area, you will need to take a local taxi or shared auto-rickshaw to reach Yousmarg, which is approximately 15 km away. The taxi fare will be around INR 300-500, while auto-rickshaws may cost around INR 100-200 per person.
Shared Taxi
Another convenient option from Srinagar is to hire a shared taxi from the Lal Chowk area. These taxis usually leave when they are full, and the cost per person is approximately INR 300-400. The shared taxi will take you directly to Yousmarg, making it a comfortable and quicker option than the bus. The journey will take about 2 hours, and you will be dropped off near the main entrance of Yousmarg.
