Travel Guide to Bhalukjuri Waterfall

Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from Kaziranga National Park, start at the Kohora range gate. Head towards the National Highway 37 (NH37) and turn east. Continue on NH37 for about 8 kilometers until you reach the junction for Bagori. Turn left onto the road that leads to Bagori village. After approximately 4 kilometers, you will see signs indicating the direction to Bhalukjuri Waterfall. The waterfall is located about 2 kilometers from the main road, and you may need to park your vehicle at a designated area and walk the rest of the way.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Bhalukjuri Waterfall using public transportation, you can take a local bus or shared auto-rickshaw from the Kaziranga National Park area to Bagori village. Look for buses heading towards Nagaon or nearby towns. Once in Bagori, ask locals for directions to the waterfall. It is roughly a 2-kilometer walk from the village to the waterfall, so be prepared to walk or hire a local guide if needed. The bus fare should be around ₹50-₹100 depending on your starting point.

• Walking

  If you are already in Bagori village, you can reach Bhalukjuri Waterfall on foot. From the village center, follow the signs towards the waterfall. The path is well-trodden, but it can be steep and rocky in sections, so wear appropriate footwear. The walk is about 2 kilometers and should take approximately 30-45 minutes. Enjoy the natural beauty along the way!
