Car
Starting from the main town of Alleppey, head towards NH66. Follow the NH66 for approximately 20 km until you reach the junction to Cherai. Turn onto the Cherai Beach Road (also known as Cherai Road) and continue straight for about 12 km. You will pass through beautiful landscapes and local villages. The Cherai Beach Road View Point will be on your right as you approach the beach area. There is usually no entry fee for this viewpoint.
Public Transportation
From Alleppey, take a local bus heading towards Kochi. Ensure to inform the bus conductor that you want to alight at Cherai Beach. The bus ride will take about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Once you arrive at Cherai Beach, you can either walk or take a local auto-rickshaw to the Cherai Beach Road View Point, which is approximately 2 km away. The auto-rickshaw fare should be around INR 50-100, depending on your negotiation skills.
Taxi
If you prefer a more comfortable option, you can hire a taxi from any major town in the Kerala Backwaters like Alleppey or Kochi. The taxi ride will take about 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic. Boat
