Car
If you are traveling by car, start from Kochi. Head east on the NH 544 towards Angamaly. Continue on NH 544 for about 22 km. At Angamaly, take the left exit onto the NH 85 towards Muvattupuzha. After approximately 20 km, you will reach Piravom. From Piravom, follow the signs to Pampakuda. Continue on Piramadam-Vettimood Road for about 5 km. The Areeckal Waterfalls will be on your right. There is parking available near the entrance.
Public Transportation - Bus
To reach Areeckal Waterfalls via public transport, take a bus from Kochi to Piravom. Buses are frequent and the journey takes about 1 hour. Once you arrive in Piravom, you can take a local bus towards Pampakuda or a taxi. Local buses will drop you off near the entrance of Areeckal Waterfalls. The bus fare from Kochi to Piravom is approximately ₹50-₹100, and from Piravom to Pampakuda, it is around ₹20.
Auto-rickshaw
If you prefer a more direct route after reaching Piravom, you can hire an auto-rickshaw. Auto-rickshaws are readily available at the bus station and can take you to Areeckal Waterfalls. The fare should be negotiated beforehand, but expect to pay around ₹200-₹300 for the short trip to the falls.
