Once you reach the town of Kalpetta, take the road towards Edakkal Caves. Drive approximately 12 km from Kalpetta; you'll see signposts directing you to the caves. The final stretch includes a narrow road leading up to the parking area. Parking is available at the base of the caves for a nominal fee (around ₹50). From the parking area, it's a short trek of about 1.5 km uphill to reach the caves.

For those using public transportation, take a bus to Kalpetta from your current location (Kochi or Kozhikode have regular bus services). Once you arrive in Kalpetta, you can hire a taxi or auto-rickshaw to take you to Edakkal Caves, which is about 12 km away. Expect to pay around ₹300-₹400 for the taxi ride. Alternatively, you can take a local bus from Kalpetta to Nenmeni and then walk for approximately 1.5 km to reach the caves. Buses run frequently, but ensure to check the local schedules.
