Getting there

Walking

If you are in Fort Kochi, start at the Fort Kochi Beach and walk towards the Vasco da Gama Square. From there, head east and take a left onto Park Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Kochi-Muziris Biennale venue. Take a right onto the busier area and catch a local bus heading towards Thripunithura. Get off at the Kottakakom stop. From there, walk along N Fort Rd until you see Palace No. 5 on your left.

Public Bus

From the Ernakulam South Railway Station, head to the nearest bus stop. Catch a bus headed towards Thripunithura. Ensure the bus route number is displayed prominently. The journey will take approximately 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Get off at the Kottakakom stop. After disembarking, walk straight along N Fort Rd for about 10 minutes until you find Palace No. 5 on your left.

Auto Rickshaw

From anywhere in Kochi, you can easily hire an auto rickshaw. Mention 'Kottakakom, Thrippunithura' to the driver. The ride should take roughly 20-30 minutes depending on traffic. Ask the driver to drop you off on N Fort Rd. Once you get off, Palace No. 5 will be within walking distance. Keep an eye out on your left as you walk along the road.

Bicycle Rental

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Fort Kochi. Head towards the main road and cycle towards the Ernakulam area. Follow the signs for Thripunithura. It will take approximately 1 hour to reach Kottakakom. Once on N Fort Rd, look for Palace No. 5 on your left as you ride along the road.
