Train
If you are in Kolkata, head to Howrah Railway Station. From there, take a train towards Chinsurah. The train will take approximately 30-40 minutes. Once you arrive at Chinsurah Station, exit and head towards the main road. You can either walk or take a cycle rickshaw. If walking, go straight on the main road for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach Imambara Road. The Hooghly Imambara will be on your right, near D.M Banglw.
Bus
From Esplanade Bus Terminus in central Kolkata, take bus number 34 or 78 heading towards Chinsurah. The bus will take about 1-1.5 hours. Get off at Chowk Bazar. From the bus stop, walk towards Imambara Road, which is about 400 meters away. You will see the Hooghly Imambara on your left as you approach.
Auto Rickshaw
If you prefer a more direct route, you can hail an auto rickshaw from any nearby area in Kolkata. Ask the driver to take you to Hooghly Imambara in Chinsurah. The journey should take about 1-1.5 hours depending on traffic. Make sure the driver understands the location or show them the address: Imambara Rd, near D.M Banglw, Chowk Bazar, Chinsurah.
Walking
If you are already in Chinsurah, you can walk to Hooghly Imambara. From Chowk Bazar, locate Imambara Road and walk towards the direction of D.M Banglw. The Imambara is situated nearby and should take about 10-15 minutes on foot.
