Getting There

• Walking

  If you're in the B.B.D. Bagh area, start by heading towards Fairley Place. From there, walk towards the banks of the Hooghly River. Look for the Babughat-Ramkrishnapur Ferry Route, which is where the Viewing Spot is located. It’s a short walk, roughly 10-15 minutes, and will take you past some local shops and eateries. Once you reach the riverbank, you should see the ferry terminal and the Viewing Spot directly ahead.

• Public Transport - Bus

  From anywhere in Kolkata, find a bus that heads towards B.B.D. Bagh or Howrah. Buses like 101, 5B, or 47 are common routes that will drop you off near Fairley Place. Once you get off, walk towards the Hooghly River, following signs for Babughat. After about a 10-minute walk from the bus stop, you will arrive at the Viewing Spot located on the Babughat-Ramkrishnapur Ferry Route.

• Public Transport - Metro

  Take the Kolkata Metro to the Esplanade station. Once you exit the station, take a taxi or a cycle rickshaw to B.B.D. Bagh, which should take around 10 minutes. From B.B.D. Bagh, walk towards Fairley Place and then head to the Hooghly River. Continue walking along the riverbank towards the Babughat-Ramkrishnapur Ferry Route where the Viewing Spot is located.

• Ride-Sharing (like Ola or Uber)

  Open your ride-sharing app and set your destination to 'Babughat-Ramkrishnapur Ferry Route, Fairley Place, B.B.D. Bagh, Howrah, Kolkata'. The driver will drop you off close to the Viewing Spot. Once you arrive, it will be just a short walk to the riverside where you can enjoy the view.
