From Kovalam, head south on the NH66 highway towards Kottukal. Continue for approximately 13 km. As you approach Kottukal, look for signs directing you to Azhimala Beach. Turn left onto Adimalathura Road, and follow this road for about 1 km until you reach the beach. Parking is available nearby, but it may incur a small fee of around ₹20.

Board a local bus from the main bus stand in Kovalam heading towards Kottukal. The bus fare will typically be around ₹15. Inform the conductor that you want to get off at Adimalathura. Once you reach Adimalathura, it's a short 10-minute walk to Azhimala Beach. Follow the signs towards the beach, and you will arrive shortly.

For a more direct option, you can hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw from Kovalam. The fare to Azhimala Beach will generally range from ₹300 to ₹500 depending on your bargaining skills and the type of vehicle.
