If you are driving from the center of Kovalam, head northwest on Lighthouse Road towards the Kovalam Beach Road. Continue for about 2 km until you reach the junction near the Kovalam junction. Take a left onto Kovalam Beach Road and keep following this road for about 3 km until you see signs for Poovar boating. The destination will be on your right. Parking is available nearby, but be prepared for a small fee.

Public Transportation - Auto Rickshaw
From any part of Kovalam, you can hire an auto rickshaw to take you to Poovar boating. Make sure to mention the destination as 'Poovar Beach' and confirm the fare beforehand. The ride will take approximately 30 minutes and should cost around 200-300 INR. The driver will take you along Kovalam Beach Road, passing through scenic views before reaching Poovar.

Public Transportation - Bus
You can take a local bus from the Kovalam bus station towards Thiruvananthapuram. Get off at the Poovar stop, which is about 20 minutes into the journey. From the bus stop, you can either walk (approximately 15 minutes) or take an auto rickshaw (about 5 minutes) to reach the Poovar boating area. The bus fare is usually very inexpensive, around 20 INR.
