Car
If you are in Leh, drive towards Sankar Road. From the Leh Main Market, head east on Fort Road, then take a left onto Sankar Road. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers, and you will reach Explore Ladakh on your left. There is no parking fee, but make sure to follow local parking regulations.
Taxi
You can hire a taxi from any location in Leh. Simply tell the driver you want to go to Explore Ladakh on Sankar Road. The fare from the Leh Main Market should be around ₹100-₹200 depending on the negotiation and time of day. It will take approximately 10-15 minutes.
Public Bus
Public buses run between Leh and Sankar. You can catch a bus from the Leh Bus Stand. Look for buses heading towards Sankar; they typically run every 30 minutes. The fare is very economical, around ₹20. Once you reach the Sankar Monastery stop, it’s a short 5-minute walk to Explore Ladakh.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, you can rent a bicycle in Leh. Head towards Sankar Road by following the same route as cars. It’s a pleasant ride, approximately 4 kilometers from the city center, and you can enjoy the scenic views along the way. Bicycle rentals typically cost around ₹300-₹500 per day.
