Getting There

  • Walking

    Start at the Leh Main Market, which is a central hub in Leh. Head southeast on Main Bazaar road until you reach the intersection with Old Leh Road. Turn left onto Old Leh Road. Continue walking straight for about 1.5 kilometers. The Zanskar will be on your right side. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating The Zanskar, as it may not be very prominent.

    From the Leh Main Market, you can hire a rickshaw. Inform the driver that you want to go to The Zanskar on Old Leh Road. The ride should take about 10 minutes, depending on the traffic. Make sure to note that the drop-off point will be directly in front of the establishment.

    If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bicycle from various rental shops in Leh. Start at the Main Market and head southeast towards Old Leh Road. Cycle along Old Leh Road for about 1.5 kilometers. The Zanskar will be on your right. Be cautious of pedestrians and other vehicles on the road.
