I chose the tour without a guide because, for me, this journey was more spiritual than cultural. However, I was provided with a very comfortable car, a professional driver, excellent hotels, and, most importantly, all the time I needed for my spiritual practices. I was never rushed, and nobody tried to change my route or influence my plans. Everything went exactly according to the confirmed itinerary, with a few wonderful extras, such as a camel ride in Nubra Valley. We received our documents in advance and were picked up on time. We had a super clean car. We felt very safe and confident with our driver. Due to an illness on my part, the start time was adjusted flexibly. We were not only picked up from and returned to the hotel, but also picked up from and returned to the airport. After our flight was cancelled, our tour guide assisted us with rebooking and finding a hotel, providing comprehensive support throughout the process. We are very grateful and say a heartfelt thank you—we would gladly come back.

His local knowledge was invaluable, and he shared stories and perspectives that helped us experience Ladakh the way locals do. On top of that, Gulam Bhaiya is an exceptionally skilled driver. The roads in Ladakh can be challenging, but you barely felt a thing sitting in the back seat. We always felt safe and in good hands, which made the journey just as enjoyable as the destinations. What I appreciated most about Ladakh Backpackers is that they are true experts in the region and only give genuine travel recommendations. It never felt like we were just checking off tourist spots—we were experiencing Ladakh through the eyes of people who genuinely know and love the place.
