Walking
If you are starting from the Leh Market area, head north towards the main road, and take a right onto Fort Road. Continue walking straight for about 600 meters until you reach the intersection with the Chubi Road. Take a left turn onto Chubi Road, and continue uphill for another 800 meters. You will see signs directing you to Leh Fort. The fort is perched on a hill and will become visible as you approach it.

If you are near the Shanti Stupa, you can take a picturesque route. Start walking down from the stupa towards the main road and take a left onto Fort Road. Walk straight for approximately 1 kilometer. You will begin to see the fort in the distance. Follow the signs to reach the fort entrance, which is located at the base of the hill leading up to the fort.

From the Leh Palace, which is very close to Leh Fort, simply walk downhill towards the Fort Road. You can either follow the road or take a shortcut through the local paths, which will take you directly to the fort entrance. It's about a 10-minute walk.

If you are at the bus station in Leh, exit the station and walk south towards the main market area. Once you reach the market, take Fort Road heading north. Continue on this road for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the fort. The path is well-marked, and you can ask locals for directions if needed.
