Walking
Starting from the Leh Main Market, head east towards the Leh Palace. Walk past the Palace and continue along the road until you reach the junction. At the junction, take the left turn onto Chubi Road. Follow this road for about 1 kilometer. You'll pass several small shops and local residences. Keep an eye out for a sign indicating Sankar Gompa on your right. After walking for about 15-20 minutes, you'll arrive at the entrance to Sankar Gompa.

If you are starting from the Shanti Stupa, exit the stupa area and head back down the hill towards the main road. Once you reach the road, turn left and walk down towards the Leh Palace. From the Palace, follow the previous directions to Chubi Road. This route should take you about 30 minutes from the Shanti Stupa to Sankar Gompa.
