Start from the Leh Main Market. Head southwest on Fort Road towards the Main Bazaar. Walk straight until you reach the intersection at Chamba Hotel. Take a left onto Chamba Road. Continue straight for about 1 km, and you will arrive at the Red Maitreya Temple located at 5H8P+7XM, Leh, 194101.
Walking
If you're near the Leh Palace, exit the palace grounds and walk down to the main road. Turn left towards the Main Bazaar. Once you reach the Main Bazaar, follow the same route as above by turning onto Chamba Road after reaching Chamba Hotel. Continue straight for about 1 km to reach the Red Maitreya Temple.

From the Shanti Stupa, head down the hill towards the main road. Once you reach the main road, turn left. Walk for about 1.5 km until you reach the intersection at Chamba Hotel. Turn right onto Chamba Road, and then continue straight for around 1 km until you arrive at the Red Maitreya Temple.
