Car
If you are traveling by car, start your journey from Indore, which is approximately 100 km away from Mehndikund Waterfalls. Take NH-52 towards Khandwa. After about 60 km, take a right turn onto the road leading to Jhikadiya Khedi. Follow this road for around 20 km, and you should see signs directing you to Mehndikund Waterfalls. The final stretch will involve traveling on a dirt road, so proceed with caution. Parking is available near the waterfall site.
Public Transportation
To reach Mehndikund Waterfalls using public transportation, take a bus from Indore to Khandwa. The journey takes approximately 2-3 hours, and buses run frequently. Once you reach Khandwa, hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to take you to Jhikadiya Khedi, which is about 30 km away. At Jhikadiya Khedi, you can hire a local guide or take a short trek of about 2 km to reach the waterfalls. Make sure to negotiate the fare with the auto-rickshaw or taxi driver beforehand.
Bike
For the adventurous, renting a bike in Indore is a great way to reach Mehndikund Waterfalls. Follow the same route as for cars by taking NH-52 towards Khandwa. The distance is about 100 km, and the journey is scenic. Just be prepared for some rough patches on the road as you near the waterfalls. Ensure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic regulations.
