If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the nearest major city, such as Khajuraho, which is approximately 20 km away. Head east on NH39, following the signs for Dhoguwan. After about 15 km, take a left onto Raneh Falls Road. Continue for another 5 km until you reach the parking area for Raneh Water Falls. The route is well-marked, and the road is generally in good condition. Please note that there may be a nominal parking fee.
Public Transportation
For those using public transportation, board a bus from Khajuraho to Dhoguwan. Buses are available at regular intervals and the fare is typically around ₹50-₹100. Once you arrive at Dhoguwan, you can hire a local auto-rickshaw or taxi to take you to Raneh Water Falls, which is roughly 10 km from the bus stop. The auto-rickshaw fare may range from ₹150-₹250 depending on negotiation.
Walking
If you are already in Dhoguwan and prefer to walk, you can trek from the town to Raneh Water Falls. The distance is about 10 km and takes approximately 2-3 hours. Follow Raneh Falls Road, which is marked, and enjoy the scenic views along the way. Ensure you wear comfortable shoes and carry water, as the route can be quite hot.
