The route is scenic, passing through lush landscapes. Ensure your vehicle has enough fuel, as there are limited refueling options along the way. The drive takes about 4-5 hours.

From Jabalpur, you can take a bus to Mandla. Several state-run and private buses operate daily from Jabalpur to Mandla. The bus ride takes roughly 3-4 hours. Once in Mandla, you will need to hire a taxi or an auto-rickshaw to reach the Kanha Tiger Reserve, which is about 60 km away. Taxi fares can range from ₹1200 to ₹2000, depending on negotiation and vehicle type.
