Getting There

• Walking

From there, walk straight down East Veli Street until you reach the junction with Collector Office Road. Turn right onto Collector Office Road. Continue walking for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass a few local shops and small eateries along the way. The Arulmigu Park Sri Murugan Temple is located on your left, near the Gandhi Museum. Look for the temple’s entrance marked with traditional decorations.

  From any point in Madurai, you can hire an auto rickshaw to take you to Arulmigu Park Sri Murugan Temple. Simply tell the driver your destination, mentioning 'near Gandhi Museum' if needed. The ride will typically cost around 50-100 INR depending on your starting location. The driver will navigate through the city, and you can expect to reach the temple in about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic.
