Walking
If you are starting from the Meenakshi Amman Temple, exit the temple complex and head east on South Avani Moola Street. Continue straight for about 1.2 kilometers until you reach the intersection with Collector Office Road. Turn left onto Collector Office Road, and after approximately 500 meters, you will see the Gandhi Memorial Museum on your right.
Auto Rickshaw
From your location in Madurai, you can take an auto rickshaw to Gandhi Memorial Museum. Simply tell the driver 'Collector Office Road, Alwarpuram.' The ride should take around 10-15 minutes depending on traffic. The driver will drop you off right at the entrance of the museum.
Public Bus
Find the nearest bus stop and take any bus heading towards Alwarpuram. You can ask the bus conductor for the best bus to reach Collector Office Road. Once you reach the Alwarpuram bus stop, walk towards Collector Office Road and continue straight for about 200 meters. The Gandhi Memorial Museum will be on your left.
Bicycle
If you are renting a bicycle, start from the central area of Madurai. Head towards the East by taking the Pandiyan Hotel Road. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Collector Office Road. Turn left and cycle about 1 kilometer. The Gandhi Memorial Museum will be on your right. Make sure to follow local traffic rules while cycling.
