Continue straight until you reach the intersection with East Veli Street. Turn left onto East Veli Street and walk until you reach the junction with Kamarajar Salai. Cross the road and continue towards the Madurai Railway Junction. Once at the junction, look for signs directing you to the platforms. Board a train headed towards Dindigul or Kodaikanal Road, as they usually pass over the Vaigai River Railway Bridge. After a short ride, you will see the bridge on your right.

Begin your journey at the Madurai Bus Stand. From there, take a city bus heading towards Arappalayam. Once on the bus, inform the conductor that you wish to get off at Puttuthoppu. After approximately 20-30 minutes, you will arrive at Puttuthoppu. Alight at the stop and walk towards the Vaigai River. Follow the local roads leading towards the riverbank, and you will soon see the railway bridge.
