If you are starting from the Madurai Meenakshi Amman Temple, exit the temple complex and head towards East Chitrai Street. Walk straight until you reach the junction with West Chitrai Street. Turn right onto West Chitrai Street and continue until you reach the intersection with Kottaiyur Road. Turn left onto Kottaiyur Road and continue walking. After about 500 meters, you will reach a small roundabout. Take the second exit onto Periyar Road. Continue straight for another 300 meters, and you will see the West Side Fort on your left at W486+JWC, Periyar, Madurai Main.
