Car
If you are driving from Mahabaleshwar, head towards the Mahabaleshwar-Panchgani Road (NH 66). From the main market area, continue straight for about 5 km. You will see signs for Lingamala Waterfall. Turn left onto the road leading to Lingamala Waterfall. After another 2 km, you will arrive at the parking area. Note that there may be a nominal parking fee of around INR 50.
Public Transportation
To reach Lingamala Waterfall using public transport, you can take a local bus from the Mahabaleshwar bus stand to the Lingamala Waterfall stop. Buses operate frequently, and the fare is typically around INR 20. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Once you arrive at the stop, it's a short walk (approximately 1 km) to the waterfall. Look for signs directing you to the waterfall.
Auto-rickshaw
For a more direct route, you can hire an auto-rickshaw from anywhere in Mahabaleshwar. Negotiate the fare beforehand; it usually costs between INR 200 and INR 300 for a round trip. The auto-rickshaw can drop you off at the entrance to the waterfall area. Be sure to agree on a time for the return journey.
