Getting There

• Car

  If you are traveling by car, start from the main market area of Mahabaleshwar. Head southeast on Main Market Road towards Panchgani - Mahabaleshwar Rd. After approximately 2.5 km, you will reach a fork in the road. Take the left lane towards Panchgani. Continue on this road for about 3 km. Lingmala Doh Point will be on your right, just off the main road, look for the signboards indicating the viewpoint.

• Public Transportation

  For public transportation, you can take an auto-rickshaw or a local bus from the Mahabaleshwar bus stand. Look for buses heading towards Panchgani and ask the driver to drop you at Lingmala Doh Point. The ride will take about 20-30 minutes, and the fare is usually around INR 30-50 per person. Once you arrive at the nearest bus stop, you might need to walk a short distance (about 500 meters) to reach the viewpoint.

• Taxi

  You can also hire a taxi from any location in Mahabaleshwar. The taxi drivers are familiar with Lingmala Doh Point and can take you directly there. The cost for a one-way trip may range from INR 200-400, depending on your starting point.

• Walking

  If you are staying close to Lingmala Doh Point or are up for a scenic walk, you can walk from the main market area. The walk is approximately 5 km and will take about 1-1.5 hours. Start on Panchgani - Mahabaleshwar Rd and follow the road signs towards Lingmala Doh Point. Make sure to carry water and wear comfortable shoes, as the route can be steep in some areas.
