If you are driving, start from the Mahabaleshwar bus stand, which is centrally located. From the bus stand, head southeast on Main Road and continue for about 2 kilometers. You will reach a fork; take the left onto Murray Peth Road. Continue straight for another 1 kilometer, and you will see signs for Ruchir Desai Point. The final approach is a narrow road leading directly to the point. There is no parking directly at the viewpoint, so you may need to park nearby and walk the last few meters.
Public Transportation
To reach Ruchir Desai Point via public transport, you can take a local bus from the Mahabaleshwar bus stand that goes towards Murray Peth. Buses are typically available every 30 minutes. Get off at the nearest stop to Murray Peth and walk approximately 500 meters towards the direction of Ruchir Desai Point. Follow the directions provided above for the last part of the journey.
Walking
If you are already in the Murray Peth area, walking to Ruchir Desai Point is a pleasant option. From any point in Murray Peth, head towards the main road and follow the pathway leading towards Ruchir Desai Point. It is approximately a 15-minute walk, and the route is straightforward with minimal traffic.
