If you are driving from the center of Mahabalipuram, head south on East Coast Road (ECR) towards the direction of the Shore Temple. Continue straight until you reach the junction near the Mahabalipuram Beach. Turn left onto J5CQ+32W and follow this road for about 1 km. Valayankuttai Ratha will be on your right. There is usually free parking available nearby.
Public Transportation
To reach Valayankuttai Ratha by public transport, you can take an auto-rickshaw from the Mahabalipuram bus station. Inform the driver to take you to J5CQ+32W. The fare should be around INR 50-100 depending on your negotiation skills. The journey will take approximately 10-15 minutes. Once you arrive at J5CQ+32W, you can walk to Valayankuttai Ratha, which is a short distance from where the auto-rickshaw drops you off.
