If you're driving from Mumbai, take the Western Express Highway (NH48) towards the north. Follow the signs towards Borivali National Park. Continue on the road until you reach the entry point of the park. You will need to pay an entry fee of around INR 50 per person to enter the park. Once inside, follow the road signs that lead to Kanheri Caves. The drive from Mumbai should take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, depending on traffic conditions. Parking is available near the cave entrance.

Public Transportation - Train and Taxi
From Mumbai, take a local train from Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus (CST) or any central station to Borivali Station. The train fare is approximately INR 10-30 depending on the class. Upon arriving at Borivali Station, exit the station and look for auto-rickshaws or taxis. The taxi fare to Kanheri Caves is around INR 100-150. The journey should take about 30-40 minutes.
