Getting There

• By Car

  If you are driving from Kochi, take NH 66 southbound. Continue on NH 66 for about 45 km until you reach Cherthala. Take a left onto SH40, and follow the signs to Mararikulam. After about 5 km, you will arrive at Marari Beach, which is located on the right side of the road. There is ample parking available near the beach. Please note that tolls may apply on NH 66, so be prepared for some cost.

• By Train

  If you prefer to travel by train, the nearest railway station to Marari Beach is Cherthala. You can take a train from major cities like Kochi or Trivandrum to Cherthala. Upon arrival at Cherthala station, you can hire an auto-rickshaw or taxi to reach Marari Beach, which is approximately 10 km away. The auto-rickshaw ride should cost around 200-300 INR.

• By Bus

  You can also reach Marari Beach by public bus. From Kochi, take a bus to Cherthala. Once you arrive at the Cherthala bus station, find a local bus or an auto-rickshaw to Mararikulam. The bus ride should take about an hour and typically costs around 50-100 INR. From the bus stop in Mararikulam, Marari Beach is a short walk away.

• By Taxi

  For a more comfortable journey, consider hiring a taxi from Kochi directly to Marari Beach. This option provides door-to-door service and can be arranged via local taxi services or ride-hailing apps. The journey will take approximately 1-1.5 hours, depending on traffic, and the fare may range from 1000 to 1500 INR.
