To reach Dhauladhar from Mcleodganj by car, start at the main square (McLeod Ganj Chowk) and head towards Dharmshala on the NH503. Follow the road for approximately 10 km until you reach the Bhowen area. As you drive, keep an eye out for signs directing you towards Dhauladhar. You will need to park your vehicle at designated parking areas as you cannot drive all the way up to the peak.

From Mcleodganj, take a local bus or shared taxi to Dharmshala. Buses run frequently from the main bus stand in Mcleodganj. The fare is usually around INR 30-50. Once you arrive in Dharmshala, you will need to take another local taxi or bus to Bhowen. The fare for this leg of the journey is approximately INR 100-150. Upon reaching Bhowen, you may need to walk a short distance to find the trails leading to Dhauladhar.
