If you are in the main market area of Mcleodganj, start by walking towards the main square where the Dalai Lama Temple is located. From the temple, head north on Temple Road for about 500 meters until you reach the T junction. Turn left onto McLeod Ganj Road and continue walking for another 300 meters. You will see a sign for 'Kirti Monastery' on your right. Follow the path leading up the hill for approximately 200 meters until you reach the monastery entrance.

From anywhere in Mcleodganj, you can hire a taxi to take you to Kirti Monastery. The ride should take around 5-10 minutes and cost approximately โน100-โน150, depending on your pickup location. Inform the driver that you want to go to Kirti Monastery, which is located near the upper part of McLeod Ganj. They will be familiar with the location.

You can take a local bus from the main bus stand in Mcleodganj. Board a bus heading towards Dharamshala or Upper McLeod Ganj. Get off at the stop nearest to Kirti Monastery (look for signs or ask the conductor). The fare is usually around โน10-โน20. Once you get off, it's a short walk of about 400 meters uphill to the monastery.
