From the main square in Mcleodganj, head towards the Tibetan Museum and take the road leading towards Dharamkot. Continue walking for approximately 1.5 kilometers until you reach the intersection at the trailhead for the Lahesh Caves. The trailhead is marked with signs indicating the direction to Lahesh Cave.

The trek to Lahesh Cave is about 6 kilometers from the trailhead. Follow the well-marked trail through pine forests and rocky terrain.
