Getting There

• Walking from Mcleodganj

  From the main square in Mcleodganj, head towards the main road (Jogiwara Road). Walk up this road for about 1.5 kilometers. You will pass by various shops and cafes. Keep an eye out for the sign for Dharamkot. After reaching the intersection, take a right and continue walking uphill. The path will lead you through a residential area and into a more forested section. Follow the signs towards Prayer Flag Point, which is approximately 1 kilometer from Dharamkot. The total walking time is roughly 30-45 minutes.

• Taxi from Mcleodganj

  You can hire a taxi from Mcleodganj to Dharamkot. Most local taxis will charge around ₹200-₹300 for a one-way trip. Ask the driver to drop you off at Dharamkot. From the drop-off point, it's a short walk to Prayer Flag Point, which will take approximately 15 minutes. Make sure to confirm the fare before starting your journey.

  If you prefer public transportation, you can take a local bus from Mcleodganj to Dharamkot. Buses typically run every 30 minutes and the fare is around ₹20. Ride towards Dharamkot, and once you reach the village, look for signs for Prayer Flag Point. Parking is available near the point, and the ride will take approximately 15-20 minutes.
