If you are driving from Shillong, take the NH6 towards Jowai. After about 50 km, you will reach a junction at Ranikor. Take the left turn following the signs for Ranikor and continue for approximately 30 km. You will pass through scenic landscapes and small villages. Once you reach Ranikor, follow the local signs to Makam Sohra, which is located at the coordinates 25.211623, 91.2604813. Make sure to have a GPS or map handy as some local signs may be limited.
Public Transportation (Bus)
From Shillong, you can take a bus to Ranikor. Buses leave from the MTC bus stand in Shillong regularly. The fare is approximately ₹150-200 and the journey takes about 2-3 hours.
